Daithi takes on the ice bucket challenge during the Rose of Tralee live show

And he nominated D'Arcy, Tubridy and Whelan. Oh it's on..

The Rose of Tralee started last night and, as expected, it was full of cringey, funny and strange moments.

Host Dáithí Ó'Sé rounded off the night by proving how 'with it' everyone at RTÉ is by taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge which has taken over the internet.

Iit's always enjoyable to watch someone dump ice water over their head and it is for a good cause (the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association), so sit back and enjoy the moment Dáithí gets soaked live on TV.

Everyone was delighted by it on Twitter anyway.
