Robin Williams sent a terminal cancer patient a poignant video just months before his death

Williams recorded the message for Vivian Walker who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

In a video message to one of his fans who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, Robin Williams urges her not to give up hope.

Williams made the video for Vivian Walker, 21, from New Zealand who was diagnosed with lung, liver and colon cancer last January.

As her health deteriorated rapidly, she created a 'bucket list' of things she wanted to do. As well as marrying her boyfriend Jack and attending her daughter's first birthday, Vivian wanted to meet her hero Robin Williams.

As she was too ill to travel, her friends got in contact with Williams and he sent her this short message, sending her his love.

Heartbreakingly, Waller's husband Jack has yet to tell her about the actor's suicide.

"Viv struggles with a lack of energy and it is quite difficult for her to concentrate. We are just enjoying the time we have together. We take things a day at a time."
