All change for Today FM's Máiread
Popular Today FM co-presenter Mairead Farrell surprised listeners with two pieces of news this morning - not only is she newly engaged to businessman beau Louis Ronan (yay!), she's also jumping ship from The Ray D'Arcy Show to The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show.
So @cocomairead got engaged & is also joining The Breakfast Show! Just a normal Monday morning in @todayfmofficial.

Mairead (34), who has been with Today FM for 10 years since starting her career with the broadcaster as an intern, has been an on-air stalwart on Ray's show for the past number of years.
She is set to join Ian Dempsey as producer, and explained that the move would enable her to spend more time with son Dara Fitzpatrick (6).
Mairead said that her little boy was "growing up like a flash before her eyes".
"I had to make a change," she said on air this morning.
"I'm moving on from the Ray D'Arcy show to just 15, 16 feet away to be the producer of the Ian Dempsey show," she said.
"Dara's growing up like a flash before my eyes. I'm able to pick him up from school every day now."
She also revealed that Louis, whom she has been dating since 2011, popped the question on holidays two weeks ago and the couple intend to wed next summer.
Mairead's move follows the departure in June of Jenny Kelly, long term producer of The Ray D'Arcy show (and Ray's wife, of course).
Jenny announced she was leaving the show after 14 years to focus on raising the couple’s two children Kate, eight, and two-year-old Tom.
Congratulations to Mairead on the engagement and best of luck with the job move!
