PR stunt or simple mistake?

Have you seen this recent press photo of Lady Edith and Lord Grantham? It was released to promote the upcoming series of Downton Abbey but it's generated more publicity for the incongruous object on the mantelpiece.

While many thought it was just an unfortunate oversight, suspicion is brewing that it's all just a clever PR stunt.

Or is this all just a ploy to launch Downton Abbey Spring Water?

Only a matter of time before Julian Fellowes & #ITV start marketing a Downton Abbey brand of spring water.

We just REALLY hope the producers listen to this guy's absolutely brilliant suggestion.
