Standing ovation for Robin Williams during Dublin screening of Dead Poets Society
A wonderful thing happened at a screening of Dead Poets Society last night in Merrion Square.
During the climatic "O Captain, My Captain" scene - where Robin Williams' character leaves the classroom and all the boys stand on their desks - the entire audience spontaneously got to their feet with many shouting the iconic line.
And according to those that were there, it was a very special moment indeed.
