Past meets present as statues in a Cork gallery take 'selfies'
Redditor Jazus_ur_lookin_well (what a perfect username) had a bit of creative fun in the Crawford Gallery in Cork City recently - he decided to take some photos at such an angle that made it look like the statues themselves were taking selfies.
Clever!

The statues are replicas of classical pieces from Greece and Rome so they're not the most likely candidates for this most modern of crazes but it works - they've even mastered pulling weird, pouty facial expressions!


According to the Irish Redditor, his antics were attracting some attention:
"The staff in that art gallery were giving me some strange looks!"
Yeah, we can't imagine why...
