A €15,000 diamond launched into space has landed and the treasure hunt is ON
There's a treasure hunt on in England at the moment to find a diamond worth €15,000 (£12,000). It's landed somewhere in the in Lincolnshire countryside - and whoever finds it gets to keep it.
The #DiamondInTheSky was mounted to a giant helium balloon on Thursday and launched into space as part of a publicity stunt for London jewellers 77 Diamonds.
When the balloon reached the edge of space, it popped - sending the sparkler falling back down to Earth. According to the GPS locator, they've narrowed the landing site down to a 5-mile radius near Lea in Lincolnshire.

Tobias Kormind, co-founder of 77 Diamonds, told The Independent that they expect it to be found soon. They hope.
"We hope someone finds it today. I hope it’s not an artifact that gets discovered by future generations," he joked.
Our #DiamondInTheSky has still not been found! It’s within a 5 mile radius of Lea in #Lincolnshire. Will you be hunting for it today?
