Well, this is embarrassing.
The Daily Telegraph found itself at risk of treason last night due to an unfortunate placing of the headline "Toddlers at risk from extremists" uncomfortably close to a photo of young Prince George and his parents, Wills and Kate.
As always, Twitter was there to helpfully - and not at all gleefully - point out the connotations.
What a shame. The Telegraph has updated its front page after that unfortunate picture/headline combo in first edition pic.twitter.com/ePV1BiJctn— Nick Sutton (@suttonnick) August 7, 2014
Enjoying the Telegraph's front page headline change. Can't think what might have caused it ... pic.twitter.com/B5cjaVp7lJ— Hawksmoor (@HawksmoorLondon) August 8, 2014
But not before the first edition had been printed and circulated.
@suttonnick We had the early version delivered today. I was running around the office with excitement!— Steve Harris - BBC Radio Solent's Dorset Breakfast (@SteveHarrisDJ) August 8, 2014
Off with their heads!
