Arrested man plays pizza prank on police station

It probably wasn't the best time for a prank...

Yeah, this guy probably should have thought twice about pulling a prank on the same police officers who had just arrested him.

Michael Harp was taken to a police station in Kentucky on Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of shop-lifting and being drunk in a public space.

While being booked, he asked to make a phone call on his mobile. And a little while later, a Domino's delivery man showed up with five pizzas for an Officer Wilson - coinicidentally the same police officer that had arrested Harp.

Coinicidence? Maybe but police also say they tracked the call make to Michael's phone and he now faces extra charges of theft of identity, theft by deception, and impersonating a police officer.

Harp insists that it's all a big mistake.

“I’m wrongfully accused on this here. They’ve charged me with two felonies over this pizza deal because I had my phone inside the holding cell,” he said.

“There was about 10 people who probably used the phone, so it’s hard to say. Like I said, I never heard anyone say a word about Domino’s pizzas. Any of it.”

That prank is so old - he could at least been a bit more original. But we bet the officers were more than happy to dispose of the delicious evidence.
