Jessica Simpson marries long-term boyfriend Eric Johnson

People magazine have exclusively given us a sneak peek into Jessica Simpson’s big day on July 5 at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.

The singer wed American football player Eric Johnson - who she’s been dating since May 2010 - in front of 275 guests, including her sister Ashley, Donald Faison and Cacee Cobb.

The couple have two children: daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson (born May 2012) and son Ace Knute Johnson (born June 2013) who were both a big part of the day.

The happy newlyweds made their way down the aisle to the score from the 1998 film adaptation of Great Expectations - which the day was inspired by.

And it was every bit lavish as we thought it would be … WOW!

Jessica has also confirmed she will be taking her husband’s last name by captioning one of her latest Instagram snaps “Jessica Johnson”
