Artist reimagines his childhood drawings twenty years later

Telmo Pieper, a Dutch artist, has done something very clever and quite cute with his childhood artwork in a collection called the Kiddie Arts series.

With the help of Photoshop, he has recreated his drawings of standard kid-stuff - bears, whales, cars etc. - twenty years after they were originally drawn.

While Pieper's skills have definitely improved over the years - he is now a professional artist - it only highlights how delightfully weird kids drawings can be.

Telmo drew the originals when he was only four-years-old and, while it's safe to say while that kids don't have the greatest handle on realistic anatomy, there's still something charming about the misshapen snail and the cuddly cartoonish bear.
