Chris Brown's girlfriend 'fighting a battle' with Rihanna fans

Chris Brown's on/off girlfriend Karrueche Tran has said that the singer's previous history with Rihanna has made things difficult for her.

Tran has opened up about her romance with the star - who was released from jail on June 2 after serving 108 days for violating his probation, which stemmed from his assault on the 'Stay' dinger in 2009 - and admitted his ex-lover's fans have targeted her online.

Speaking on 'Just Keke', she said: "In this case my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity]...so, I'm not only am I fighting a battle with her, I'm fighting a battle with her 14 million fans or however else.

"So, imagine how that feels for me when I gotta get on Twitter and I see a whole bunch of stuff...they make up all kinds of crazy stuff and it's like they know nothing about me.

"But, you know, because they know nothing about me, because I stay so mute sometimes, that leaves open space for them to say whatever they want."

Tran insisted she is trying to stay positive and level-headed in the middle of the love triangle, but admitted it has been difficult.

Asked what the hardest part has been, she responded: "Um, jeez... I guess I would say the heartbreak, because it was a real situation."
