This chuckle-worthy video is done by the funny guys over at Robot Chicken and opens with a slightly inappropriate reference to the ongoing sexual tension in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series between the captain and Dr Beverly Crusher.

Captain Picard himself Patrick Stewart lends his voice to the skit as well as new Captain Kirk star Chris Pine who plays Captain Jake.

The adventure follows the night crew who instead of seeking out new life and new civilisations have one mission, to PARTY.

The beered up Captain Jake finds an ingenious way to finally beat the deadly Borg for good, something that has eluded all captains of the mighty Star Fleet.

We especially love the sly dig at Commander Riker’s bad saxophone playing.

Although we do point out the night crew’s version of Lieutenant Worf would probably not be popular with his Klingon counterpart.
