Macklemore makes video for Irish fans ahead of Marlay Park headliner
Macklemore has made this special video gushing about his love for Ireland and his Irish fans - and to be honest we nearly shed a tear. How cute?
In the video Macklemore reminisces on his first ever Irish gig at the Twisted Pepper and explained how hard it was for them to get booked by any Irish promoters.
He says: “We were playing our first time in Europe and for some reason we could not get a show in Ireland.
“Eventually, a friend of a friend convinced a small little venue called The Twisted Pepper to let us perform” he went on to say.

"I had never experienced that level of energy the Irish brought to the show. My family's history comes from Ireland so to get that type of love felt like a homecoming, a community of people whose support for my music would only be rivalled by my own of Seattle, Washington. There was nothing like it."
The Grammy-winning duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis also revealed that they will be “capturing the visuals and audio to produce a live video” and have created limited edition ‘Marlay Park’ t-shirts to celebrate this “landmark moment”.

Will you be there?
