This dog coughed up his owner's missing wedding ring - 6 years later

When Lois Matykowski lost her wedding ring six years ago, she was devastated. She, of course,franticallly searched every inch of her house, garden and car but there was no sign. Tucker her dog was originally a suspect but no trace was ever found...

The 10-year-old Rottweiller mix is notorious in their house for stealing food - his nickname is the "food burglar".

“He loves anything that smells good. He will eat whatever he could get his hands on,” Lois said.

And he struck again recently when he ate her ice pop - including the stick - when her back was turned.

Two days after puking the popsicle stick up, he puked again. And this time Lois noticed something sparkly - her diamond ring.

“I screamed. I kid you not,” Matykowski said.

Matykowski cleaned it with a toothbrush and toothpaste and said it looked exactly the same as it did SIX years ago.

Tucker's vet said the wooden stick might have dislodged the ring.

And although it was Tucker's fault that the ring disappeared in the first place, we can't help but feel he's the hero of the piece.
