Tourist breaks ankle after climbing Scottish mountain in flip-flops
Honestly, who decides to go up a 4000 foot mountain in FLIP-FLOPS? We can barely walk up the stairs in the things without almost breaking our neck.
Luckily, this guy only suffered a broken ankle after climbing halfway up Aonach Mòr in Scotland because "he had never seen snow before".

Needless to say, the Lochabear Mountain Rescue Team were less than impressed. They posted these photos to their Facebook page with the caption:
"Well he had never seen snow before so why not give it a go in yer bare feet and sandals!!"

While the rescue team rescued him in good spirits, they also explained why the incident should never have happened.
"This was an avoidable accident. He shouldn't have worn sandals... Let's not forget being in a MRT is voluntary. No one makes us go up the hill except us!!"
Let's hope the next time your man has an urge to experience some snow, he just sticks his head in a freezer instead.
