Mrs Brown tells of birthday court appearance

Brendan O'Carroll has revealed he had to appear in court on his birthday when he was young and he was the "golden boy" in juvenile detention.

The creator and star of 'Mrs Brown's Boys' has confessed he was sent to a youth detention centre in Dublin after he was caught stealing a roll of sticky tape and a bicycle bell as a youngster, but his ability to read Latin made his three-week stay much easier.
