M50 stages Great Irish Bake Off this morning
The guys at @GardaTraffic have brought us another classic this morning.
In a scene that would have had housewives (and househusbands) banging their rolling pins, the popular Twitter account for An Garda Síochána’s traffic division came across a road covered in a suspicious white powder at 10am this morning.

Rather then finding a vast quantity of an illegal substance, it turned out to be a shed-load of flour.
A truck carrying the flour shed its load near Junction 6 on the M50 and luckily no one was injured in the incident.

In what must have been a hair-‘raising’ event for motorists our friends from @GardaTraffic were quickly in the mix to start the clean up.
@mccarthypeter The clean up is complete. the road has reopened. The clean up crews thought it was a piece of cake.

The road has now reopened.
Never change guys, keep up the good work.
