Simon Kinberg has revealed 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will be set in 1983.

The 40-year-old writer and producer of the superhero film series made the revelation during a podcast about the latest instalment, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', according to ComicBookMovie.com.
