Astronauts playing space soccer is the best football you'll see all day

Oh, does the World Cup start today? Had no idea.

Everyone on the planet will likely be watching the World Cup when it starts later today. And it seems that even people not currently on the planet will be tuning in as well.

America astronauts Reid Wiseman and Steve Swanson and German astronaut Alexander Gerst may be currently living on the International Space Station but they won't let that stop them from enjoying the football.

They filmed this video on board the ISS to wish all the teams good luck in the tournament - and to show us what football in space looks like. They even throw in a bicycle kick.

Impressive. But it might a little easier to to perform a bicycle kick in space.

You know, because of the whole zero-gravity thing.
