Van Morrison to rock old Belfast school

Van Morrison is to play two concerts at his old school in Belfast.

Orangefield, which Van immortalised in a song, is to close at the end of the month.

Described as a tough, inner city secondary school, Orangefield will see it is famous former pupil Van Morrison perform for former staff and pupils in the Assembly Hall, with tickets priced at £25 (€30.98).

The following day members of the public can pay £85 (€105.32) to see Van Morrison perform at his personal school of rock.
