Hozier lays down powerful performance on Ellen

Wicklow artist Hozier has rocked the stage of the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ today.

Ellen introduced Andrew Hozier-Byrne as an “Irish singer-writer who I love so much” while he prepared to sing his hit 'Take Me to Church'.

The ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ averages around three million viewers per episode in the US and Hozier didn’t disappoint any of them with another stunning performance.

The singer has been grabbing headlines on both sides of the Atlantic since he performed on The Late Show with David Letterman on May 13.

There was also a classy touch from Ellen at the end of the performance with her shaking hands with every member of the band.
