‘Broadchurch’ stars start script work

Stars of the second series of whodunnit drama ‘Broadchurch’ have been united for the first time as they attended the read-through of scripts.

Returning members of the cast David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill are seen together in a photograph taken as they met up.

And new stars joining the ITV drama for series two – Charlotte Rampling, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eve Myles and James D’Arcy – were also on hand.

Details about the new characters and the plot are being kept under wraps in order to preserve the surprise for viewers.

Writer Chris Chibnall has even appealed to members of the public who spot any filming to keep the secrets of ‘Broadchurch’.

Filming is due to get under way later this month in Dorset and North Somerset.
