Political humour tends to be a little simple when it comes to political posters - vandalism is usually kept to a barely-legible scrawl with a permanent marker.

Not so in Cork, where locals took their time over the defacement of this low-hanging fruit, with quality results:

Poor Councillor Sean Martin. His name isn't even Burns.

Originally posted to Facebook by the Worker's Solidarity Movement (Ireland) page, this little gem was then cross-posted to Reddit Ireland where it rocketed straight to the top.

Of course, it should be noted that vandalism of candidate's property is not a good idea.
