Rugby players exchange furious punches, friendly tweets

Nice to see that what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.

Fierce rugby rivals Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers faced off on Friday night in the semi-final of the Aviva Premiership - and as could have been predicted, it was a fractious affair.

Among the cards issued by the ref was a red for Northampton prop Salesi Ma’afu for punching Leicester hooker Tom Youngs, and as the picture above shows, it was a fair whallop (and one of many).
