Brent Pope scams unsuspecting Dubliners on 'live TV'

This is genuinely funny, even if you're not a rugby fan.

RTÉ rugby pundit Brent Pope took to the streets of Dublin for a "live" rugby broadcast - and roped in some unsuspecting locals to help him.

Ahead of the Heineken Cup final - and with the cup itself in tow - Pope told folks walking by that his rugby experts had cancelled at the last minute - and he needed someone to stand there on camera.

But don't worry, he said - I'll take care of everything, you're just there for show.

Lies.

Of course, the whole thing was one giant wind-up - classic. But you can't blame those who were suckered in: with a full TV crew and makeup artist, it's pretty convincing.

Stick with it until 2:10, when the unsuspecting punters are left on their own. Also, fair play to the chap at 1:40, who replies in French off the cuff.
