Local candidate in Tipperary records song for votes

Martin Lonergan, an Independent candidate in the Tipperary County Council elections, has written and recorded a song encouraging voters to give him their preference.

Lonergan, who announced he would not be putting up election posters inside towns due to his support of the Tidy Towns programme, is relying on word-of-mouth and social media in his campaign.
