Last night's Eurovision heat had the usual ballads nonsense that gets churned out every year, but the undeniable champion of the Evening was Latvia's entry, called Cake to Bake.

It's brilliant, and will be stuck in your head all day long. Just check out those lyrics:

Ireland's up for qualification on Thursday night with Can-Linn's Heartbeat, and will be lieve on RTÉ 2 from 8pm, complete with traditional Marty Whelan commentary. We're up ninth on the night.
