62 high school students arrested after senior prank

Let this be a warning to any Leaving Cert students planning their sixth year prank!

Over 60 students from a New Jersey high school were arrested after a massive school-wide prank in the early hours of the morning went awry.

Police, responding to a burglary alarm, say they found Vaseline on the door handles, balloons, graffiti on the walls, desks flipped over, chairs broken and urine in the hallways.

While it might not seem like the most destructive prank ever and the school was able to reopen the next day, the police are taking it very seriously.

While those students that were under 18 were soon released to their parents (many in tears), those that were legally adults had to stand before a judge. They possibly face charges of criminal mischief, trespassing and burglary and there is a risk that it will hurt their college applications.

It's going to be a long time before any of the kids in that high school risk another senior prank.
