The Lego Simpsons trailer is here, and it's a snap

Fox is building up anticipation for the special episode of The Simpsons constructed entirely from Lego.

The trailer follows block-headed Homer Simpson as he tries to mini figure out what's wrong in his life - and what his hallucinations of a world where everything isn't made of bricks is all about.

It's pretty weird, but pretty great.

As things start falling to pieces for Homer, it looks like we'll get some classic Lego references like that pirate ship one of your friends had when you were seven.

Still, what's with Homer's obsession with figuring out the mysteries of the universe? That guy really needs to le'go of things.

The Lego episode will air as episode 550 of The Simpsons, on Sunday, May 4, in the US.
