A British Ryanair customer has posted a Facebook rant outlining how he and his new wife missed their flight from Stansted to Slovakia, where his wife’s family had gathered for a wedding reception.

After arriving at the airport an hour before the flight, Mr Lockley, from Hertfordshire in England, then tells us of how the unlucky couple miss their flight.

Along the way they meet a selection of Ryanair staff members affectionately called "Middle Gimp", "Vacant", "Not That Bright" and "Child" by our unfortunate Mr Lockley.

His conversation with "Middle Gimp" at the Customer Services Counter, or Customer Shouting Desk as Mr Lockley termed it, is priceless.

The upshot of it all was that the newlyweds had to fork out another €468 for a hotel and a flight the next day.

His rant has had more than 50,000 shares on Facebook since he posted it last week and it can be seen in full here.

Mr Lockley's also sent it by recorded delivery to the airline.
