Mayo men skip the best man speech, make drunken short film instead

Best man speeches. Difficult stuff, right?

Well, when in doubt, make an 18-minute video about the groom's drunken antics on the morning of the wedding.

You've got to admire the effort put in by Alan and Anthony Mulligan for the wedding of their brother Paul, in putting together a Hangover-esque film in place of the actual speech.

No word on what the bride, Aisling, thought of the lark, though apparently the very non-traditional best speech got a standing ovation.

It follows hot on the heels this week's viral hit involving the RTÉ soccer panel and a bride's wedding surprise.

Everyone's raising the bar these days, eh?
