'Father Ted' star McLynn joining 'EastEnders' cast

Father Ted star Pauline McLynn is joining EastEnders to play Charlie Cotton’s mother.

Show bosses said the actress, who also starred in Shameless, will have “a recurring guest role” as Yvonne Cotton.
