A spoof news website wrote a piece yesterday saying that Ryan Tubridy was found "dead inside", despite the fact the Late Late Show host is alive and well.

Those rascally reporters at Waterford Whispers News caused a bit of a flurry with their sarcastic piece.

Some people were fooled by their article Ryan Tubridy Found Dead Inside on the satirical news site which says that Tubs "was reported to have been found 'dead inside' at his home in Dublin".

They then went on to say that Ryan "was said to have been battling life for over forty years, and it is not known when exactly he passed away".

They "quote" an RTE spokesperson as saying: "Now that I think of it he was very pasty looking on the last few Late Lates. Our makeup team were having awful time with him. If only we took notice to the signs. In this business it’s hard to tell if someone has died or not."

Regrettably, some readers didn't realise the piece was a spoof and took to Twitter.

However, Tubs saw the lighter side of the article and posted a selfie to confirm he's alive and well.
