'Noah' screening halted after flood at cinema

Oh for crying out loud. Somebody up there is having a larf.

'Noah' screening halted after flood at cinema

A screening of the Russell Crowe biblical epic 'Noah' had to be cancelled in the UK because the cinema flooded.

No, we are not making this up.

(Run! The ice machine is leaking!)

According to the Exeter Express and Echo, staff at the Vue cinema in that fine city were surprised to come in on Friday - the day 'Noah' opened nationwide in the UK- and find the cinema under an undisclosed amount of water.

"The venue had to close to the public until 2pm - meaning the first showing of Noah at 12.15pm had to be cancelled," the Express and Echo reported.

“We can confirm that there was flooding at Vue Exeter on Friday 4th April due to a fault with an ice machine," a spokesman said.

"We are open for business as usual and are working with engineers to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.”
