Russell Crowe met Pope Francis during the General Audience at the Vatican today.

The 'Noah' actor was joined by director Darren Aronofsky and Paramount Pictures vice chairman Rob Moore where they saw the leader of the Catholic Church at 10.30am in St. Peter's Square, a Universal Studios spokeswoman confirmed to Variety.com.
