Scherzinger accepts Hamilton's fourth marriage proposal

Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly, finally, accepted Lewis Hamilton's proposal.

The couple are said to be engaged after reports the Pussycat Doll had snubbed his three previous offers of marriage following their reconciliation late last year.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Lewis is doing his best to keep the news under wraps but he is absolutely delighted. He got down on one knee and Nicole finally accepted.

"The plan is they are going to live together in Switzerland and travel together when Lewis is racing."

It is said the decision for her to "support him" while he focuses on his Formula 1 career will mean Nicole takes a step back in her own career for a while.

The insider added: "Of course, this means her career will have to take a back seat for a while but she is ready to support him on the track.

"Lewis will be the main breadwinner when Nicole is not working and she will always have access to his private jet if she needs to travel.

"It is the ideal plan for both of them and will hopefully lead to a big summer wedding in August when Lewis has a three-week break from his F1 schedule."
