Longford funnyman James Donnelly has had a good few weeks, with not one, but several of his Irish-themed videos going viral on Facebook.

Donnelly has been making videos like this for a while now – with a daft but for some reason very funny voice cracking the jokes.

But this week, his "Every Irish Parent Ever" video really took off, shared more than 15,000 times. Why? It's genius.

"Are ye not going to offer your friend anything to eat? Don't want him going home and telling his mammy and daddy we starved him while he was stayin' here!"
