There you are, travelling the river, when you spot a large, sleepy crocodile. Better tease it and treat it like a puppy.
This great little travel video shows a man we can only assume to be an experience animal handler do just that, attracting a crocodile from the river's edge and feeding it like a trained animal – though he's obviously well aware of those powerful jaws.
Then he puts the fish in his mouth and dares the animal to take it. Jaysus. Skip to 40 seconds for the impatient.
To put this in context, a BBC documentary last year tried to measure a saltwater crocodile's bite and registered more than 1,200 psi – and knocked the presenter flat. Another test recorded more than 3,700 psi – almost four times a lion's bite force.
The uploader, known as Forest, is a musician who recorded the video during a trip to Costa Rica in 2011. Why he denied the internet this awesome video for three years is unknown.
