Must-watch vertigo nightmare: Tightrope between hot air balloons

Well, here's your daily dose of terrifying high-rise antics. In case the climbing of the world's second-tallest building wasn't enough.

These French daredevils decided that tightrope-walking between two structures wasn't tricky enough. So they took two hot air balloons way up into the sky over the (very beautiful) countryside and decided to walk between them.

Can you imagine the wind up there? Heart-in-mouth stuff.

If you're short on time, skip all the arty set-up stuff and get up in the air at about 1:50 in.

You know you're pretty bad-ass when a friend falling off a tightrope miles above the surface makes everyone burst out laughing.

We're pretty sure they were wearing parachutes in those rather small-looking backpacks. Either that or the last guy was channelling his inner Mary Poppins with that parasol.
