Chris O'Dowd was his sisters' make-up doll

Talking on last night's Jonathan Ross show, Chris O'Dowd revealed his sisters used to put make-up on him overnight.

Speaking about his comedy show Moone Boy, he said "probably 70%" of the show is based on things that actually happened to him growing up – and told the story about how his sisters would send him to school wearing make-up.

When they were being particularly cruel they would make it really subtle - just some shadow on the eyes and stuff, to make it look like it was a decision I had made."

Also on last night's show was Irish actor Liam Neeson, who shared his experiences about being mistaken for Ralph Fiennes.
