Local elections candidate has photo taken with 'Barack Obama'

Poor Obama. The stress of office has left him looking like a mere copy of his former self.

Local election candidate, Denis Foley – who is a county councillor for Fine Gael in Carlow – sent out his new leaflets recently. But eagle-eyed John Brennan thought there was something a bit odd about that photo in the lower left…

Well, if it isn't the president of the United States himself, Barack Obama. We think it's great to see the leader of the free world pitching in with local Irish politics.

Only … he's looking a bit stiff, isn't he?
