Jen and Bernard get Hector's 2fm gig

2fm have announced Jennifer Maguire, Bernard O'Shea and Keith Walsh as the replacements for Hector Ó hEochagáin, who left the station's breakfast show in December.

The comedy team are best known for their work on RTÉ's Republic of Telly and their skits lampooning Irish life, several of which have become viral internet hits – like their water meter installation prank, "Every Irish Wedding Ever", or "Thing you could say in the 80s".

Hector's departure was announced in mid-December by RTÉ, though the national broadcaster said it would be keeping the presenter on for his series 'Hector Goes'.
