BBC to give Clannad lifetime achievement award

Clannad and musician Martin Carthy are to receive honorary accolades at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards next month.

They will both be given lifetime achievement prizes at the event as the ceremony celebrating traditional music marks its 15th year.
