Want to own the actual velociraptor crate used in Jurassic Park?

"What are you looking at?"

We've seen a few odd-slash-interesting things for sale on eBay in our time, but this one stands out - somebody is selling the actual velociraptor crate used as a prop in the opening scenes of the original 1993 'Jurassic Park' movie.

Described breathlessly as as "the full size animal transport cage crate featured in the terrifying opening scene of the classic blockbuster movie!", the crate is being auctioned by seller Theme Park Connection and with more than a week left to run has already attracted a bid of nearly $100,000.

Don't go asking about shipping costs though - it's collection in person only, from Los Angeles.

For good measure, the seller has even thrown in a (pretty rubbery looking) 'raptor model, gratis.

"This is the crate that housed the velociraptor that attacked and killed the ill-fated "Gate Keeper" as Jurassic Park's game warden and workers attempted to move the 'raptor into its permanent pen," the description continues.

In case you're in need of a reminder, here's the clip of that opening scene:

Despite "showing significant signs of wear", the seller says the crate and dino "would make for an amazing restoration project".

Well, it certainly beats some tatty old wardrobe, that's for sure.
