Harvey Weinstein has cast Meryl Streep in anti-gun film 'The Senator's Wife'.

The movie mogul revealed that the Oscar-winning actress - who received a record-breaking 18th nomination for 'August: Osage County' yesterday - is set to star in his new political drama about the National Rifle Association.
