$40m pad for Ellen and de Rossi

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have splashed out almost $40m on a new home.

The US chat show host, who is a well-known architecture and design enthusiast, and the 'Arrested Development' actress, 40, paid $39.888 million for their lavish new estate, The Brody House, in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.
