Jay-Z makes young fan’s dream come true

“Step up to the big stage big man, you made it.”

They were the words that greeted a 12-year-old boy at a Jay-Z concert recently as his idol invited him on stage to rap with him.

The aspiring rapper, who gave his name as “Justin”, reportedly caught the rap mogul’s eye with a sign saying: “Can I rap for you?”

“You got something to say to the people? You do? You don’t need no music?” said a visibly impressed Jay-Z.

The youngster took in the atmosphere of the huge crowd in Greensboro, North Carolina, and after some early nerves, launched into a spirited rendition of ‘Clique’.

He did himself proud, and even got a huge hug from the proud hip-hop star for his troubles.
