Well, this is the cleanest video of the storms we've seen.

Photographer Liam Blake went out to Clare to photograph the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin area, but wasn't getting the shots he wanted - "sea spray and wind made big landscapes look very flat," he said.

But passing Lahinch, he spotted those giant waves that went viral this past week – and turned up the following morning to set up his camera and catch them on video.

A great glimpse of the big waves happens at about 50 seconds in to the video.

Liam has been a full-time photographer since 1978, and has published several collections of Irish landscape photography. You can see some more of his work at his website.
