UK zoo wants old Christmas trees - so their lions can play with them

A zoo in Cambridgeshire has appealed to people to donate their old Christmas trees rather than throwing them out - because their lions like to play with them.

"Christmas trees can now provide hours of fun for our animals, so please spare us a thought before you throw your tree on the rubbish pile," a spokesperson for Linton Zoo said.
